The ignorence of the trade channel.
-image removed ~ no negative postings of ingame names

The image does pretty much sum it up.
First, they spammed the trade ... Then, people turned it off. .. Then, naturally, they need to spam the local, because there must be some people out there who give in, and buy stuff spammed in local. I know that personally, i would never buy something that was spammed on local on principle, but, while i'm sure i'm not alone, there is likely people who will buy from local, and since people are rarely going to just turn local off, while leaving trade on .. it *is* allowing the spammer more coverage ... hoever much it annoys us. Of course, this could be avoided if they stopped spamming the trade every 2 seconds, but like *thats* ever going to happen. **edit - oh yeh, and you can't go displaying the players name like that, edit it out of the image or something** |

Those guys are the reason i don't have the trade or the local channel turned on when I go to any big town.
I msg people too, saying plz use trade channel when I spot it, alot actually do, but just as many msg STFU back. |

I think anet can't do much to fix this. What they indicated is there going to implement a trade house / auction house which will help with these issues.
Once this is in effect, if someone is spamming it will be due to < tradehouse/auction cost prices and they will be near said places of establishments. As soon as WTS / WTB get altered based off a filter people will come up with new terms for them. |
